Build a knowledge check#
The Assessment lets you generate a short knowledge check grounded in the portal's content - a quick way to test your grasp of the material or to bring someone new up to speed. It builds in three steps:
- Choose a knowledge area - pick one of the corpus topics (each card shows how many sources sit behind it), or type your own topic - a syndrome, a drug, a method - into the topic box and choose Build on this topic.
- Set the shape - choose how many questions (3, 5 or 10) and how deep to go (Foundational, Intermediate or Advanced).
- Generate the assessment - the portal writes the questions from the sources in that area.
Taking it#
Answer the questions and submit to see how you did. Each question then shows its explanation and the source it was written from, linked to that document in the Library, so you can read up on anything you missed. Intermediate and advanced checks ask for the figures and comparisons in the sources rather than definitions. Use Change area to build another check on a different topic.
